The Pennsylvania
Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has recently
approved galvanized reinforcement for use in
all concrete products for 2006. Precast
items, cast in place, and wire mesh products
received unilateral approval by the state
engineers recently. This announcement comes
at the end of a large effort to promote the
use of galvanized reinforcing steel to the
engineers at PennDOT.
